Houston Wedding Photographer – D & D

On the last post I mentioned an incoming hay-maker to this Blog, and boy I wasn’t kidding. I’m not sure how many photos are in this post, but I know it’s more than a handful. I hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoyed shooting them…

This couple really likes to have fun. You’ll see what I mean as you scroll down…

I was shooting once again with Janet of Rainy Day Photos on this wedding, and we had such a blast, the night was just too short. This wedding was from back in March, so I’m a few months behind, but trust me, I’m getting caught up. It was another amazing day weather-wise (we seem to have a lot of those lately…) and there was not a rain cloud in sight.
Viewing from Facebook? Check out the Blog, if you don’t mind.

A little something to calm the pre-wedding jitters? Or just a gift from the guys? I guess we’ll never know…

A splash of her favorite cologne before donning the penguin suit…

It’s all about the details people…

What’s this? Hmm…

On with the tie

Yeah that’s right, he’s putting the Chucks’ on…Mighty cool if you ask me

It’s getting close…

Gotta get the boutonnieres pinned on…Can’t forget those

Time for a group shot with the guys…

The amount of wood used in this church was mind blowing

I love it when couples pass looks at each other during the ceremony…

On with the rings…

And the kiss…

It’s time to go party y’all…

They made quite a grand entrance- Mariachi’s and all…

It may look like the groom is attempting a failed spider-man impression, but in fact he’s pulling off a successful mid-air flip-and-roll. The new Bride doesn’t look too impressed. I had no idea that was coming… You gotta be quick on that shutter button!

First dance…

Shortly after things got started, we went outside for a quick mini-shoot with the B&G…

Who doesn’t like spinning?

Did I mention they like to have fun? All I had to say was “Captain Morgan” and they were down…And how hawt are her shoes!

Back inside for some dancing…

They had a fully stocked candy bar with enough goodies to satisfy children of all ages. Willy Wonka would be proud…

They had a pair of masterfully crafted cakes

…Complete with a great looking Patron Silver Tequila bottle Groom’s Cake

It always hurts a little to see such a well-crafted piece of art get chopped and consumed, but hey, it sure did taste good…

Yep. With his teeth…

Conga Line!

And one last shot for the road…

I’m not sure if I mentioned this before or not, but I really, really love what I do. Thanks to Janet for allowing me to shoot with you once again, and thanks to this awesome couple for such a great time.

This coming weekend Janet and I have back to back weddings- My wedding Saturday and Her wedding Sunday and I’m really looking forward to it. So I’ll be sure to share the results after a bit, hopefully not too long. It should be fun!

Great shots once again.

Very brave having a candy bar – can't imagine how all the kids would have been running around once they have filled their stomachs with the sweets 😀
