Houston Indian Wedding – R&S – Part 2

Last week I posted about the first Indian wedding I had the privilege of documenting. That post covered the first half of the wedding, mainly the ceremony. You can see it HERE.

Well the second half of this wedding, like most weddings, consisted of lots and lots of PARTYING! We managed to squeeze in a few nice portraits of the newly married couple between the ceremony and reception. After a grand entrance, a few speeches and toasts from their closest friends and a first dance, it was time to cut the beautiful cake. I also feel compelled to mention how great the food was. They had a traditional Indian dinner for the guests, set up buffet-style. I had never tried Indian food before, but after that night, I’m hooked. The chicken, Lamb, Rice, sauces and spices were just fantastic.

It was a long and tiring day, but it was well worth it and I had a great time.

I also mentioned in my previous post that I would explain what a second-shooter does. Perhaps I’ll put that down for my next post coming up soon.

I hope everyone is having a great Monday!
